Tampa

Situated along the gulf coast, Tampa is a multi-faceted city. While it’s home to beautiful suburbs, the downtown area offers a concentration of museums and cultural centers. It is a thriving business mecca.

A major port helms cruise ships (Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, and Carnival), while the famous Busch Gardens theme park that combines an amusement park with a zoo and the Tampa Aquarium are loved by both tourists and locals.

The building of luxury condos continues, juxtaposed against the historic neighborhood of Ybor City. Cultivated by Cuban and Spanish cigar-factory workers at the turn of the 20th century, it is a vibrant destination for dining and nightlife.

Besides parks and lovely green spaces, the Tampa Riverwalk and the 8-acre Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park sit on the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa. Adjacent to the Straz Center, Glazer Children’s Museum, Florida Museum of Photographic Arts, and the Tampa Museum of Art, this is a favorite gathering spot under our sunny skies.

The European-inspired Oxford Exchange is a unique place to dine or host meetings or just hang out with a delightful coffee blend and watch the world walk by. Tampa is also home to the prestigious University of Tampa and the acclaimed Tampa General Hospital.
